For 20 years, James S. Iagmin (YAHG-min) has dedicated his Legal Career to helping people. He has represented only plaintiffs in catastrophic personal injury, employment, and real estate fraud cases. A tough advocate, he gets incredible results [link the word results] for his clients. Jim also brings integrity and humanity to the process. He helps clients cope with personal tragedy and sometimes stressful litigation. Jim believe that every client deserves honest and aggressive counsel from an experienced and skilled trial attorney.

Jim began at The Veen Firm, one of the most respected plaintiffs’ law firms in San Francisco and all of California. Returning home to San Diego in 2000, he joined the preeminent law firm of Schoville & Arnell, LLP. There, he learned all aspects of complex injury cases, including premises liability, employment, government liability, wrongful death and product liability cases. He helped work-up an automobile product liability case that resulted in a record $369,000,000 jury verdict.

In 2008, Jim joined the Gomez Law Firm, obtaining several jury verdicts in excess of $1 million—each in a unique area of the law, including the first application of the elder abuse laws to an arm’s-length real estate transaction. Due to his repeated success, the firm was re-named Gomez Iagmin Trial Attorneys in 2013.

In 2014, Jim partnered with his friend and colleague Jon Williams to form Williams Iagmin LLP. Rather than delegating cases to junior attorneys, Jim and John personally handle all of their clients’ cases.

Jim obtained his Bachelor’s degree at Loyola Marymount University, where he earned Dean’s List honors, and his Juris Doctorate at the University of San Francisco.
